Seagate ahead of Western Digital now

There are two main competitors in the hard disk battle ground – Seagate and Western Digital. Now, according to the latest stats by iSuppli, Seagate shipped 49.9 million HDD units and controls 1/3rd of the total market.

Interestingly, many people thought that WD would surpass Seagate in the Q4 2010.
