iPhone 5 Airplay: Libratone Zipp Speaker
Libratone has rolled out Zipp Speaker that makes use of iPhone’s Airplay connectivity and can connect to the phone using Playdirect connectivity. Thus, this Libratone speaker does not require you to connect it and your iPhone to your Wi-Fi network. The speaker has cylinder-like design allowing you to place it in the middle of room, allowing you share your music with other people in the same room.
Battery life is stated to be around 8 hours of music playback when you use in wired mode. Runtime gets reduced to half (~4 hours) when accessed in wireless mode. It will be released in October and in come in eight wonderful colors – grey, black, yellow, red, pink, violent, blue and cyan.
