Yahoo Mail iPhone Issue
It appears that WP7 users are not alone with Yahoo Mail using excessive data while fetching mail. It has been tested that it also affects iPhone owners. Yahoo got tested for its IMAP server with an iPhone and the result was same – overinflated response, which supplies about 25 times as much data as necessary.
Others platforms like Android, BlackBerry OS and Symbian, were not subject to the same problem. Both Apple and Yahoo have not commented on new research, but if you encounter problem in Yahoo account you can either turn off cellular data or set the Yahoo account to manual only checks.
