Macbook Pro 2011: ATi 6750m Overclocking
The latest generation of Macbook Pro comes with ATi Radeon HD 6750m which is a pretty powerful GPU. However, the technies are well aware of its limitations, one being its core clock limited to 800. Fortunately, it is easy to make it ‘do more’. Follow this guide to overclock your 6750m safely and effectively. This guide can also be used on any Notebooks with the aforementioned GPU.

First, download GPU-Z and ATi Tray tools from the links given below. Install both of them. Now, right clock on ATT located in the taskbar.

Go to Hardware > Overclocking Settings. A window will open.

Here, add a custom VDDC value ’1050′ (equivalent to 1.050V). Do not go more than that unless you want to fry the chip.
Then, set the desired clock and play. Make sure to increase or decrease in 10MHz increments.
Play your favorite games and notice and FPS jump. After gaming, make sure to roll back to the original state by selecting “set default clocks”. Only overclock when you feel the ‘need’.
