Asus 1225C
Unlike Samsung, Asus will not be killing off its netbook range. In fact, the Korean giant is now working diligently on a new netbook with 11.6 inch display – Eee PC 1225C. This 1225C will feature the upcoming Atom N2600 processor, 320GB hard disk, 2GB RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
Like other 12.1 inch Asus netbooks (Asus 1215B and Eee PC 1215p), it will have chic let keyboard and a 6 cell battery to ensure decent battery runtimes.

Keep in mind that the 1225C is not the first 11.6 inch Eee PC. The company has experimented with an 11.6 inch model called Eee PC 1101 in the past. The reason for its failure was its lackluster performance, primarily due to its grossly underpowered Atom Z520 processor (also used in Asus S121 12.1 inch netbook – launched back in 2009).
If you something even more portable, we suggest getting the Asus X101CH that will have similar innards like the 1225C but will have smaller display and keyboard. Performance will be the same as both come equipped with Atom N2600. Check out Asus X202e review.
