Asus ET1611PUT
Asus ET1611PUT is an all in one touch screen desktop PC that features a decent 15.6 inch LCD display that is touch enabled. Innards of this machine is same as what you find in Atom based nettops, which means a nettop-ish processor, RAM and hard disk. ET1611PUT is powered by an Atom D425 1.8GHz single core processor and comes with 2GB RAM.
The graphics are handled by the integrated GMA 3150 which does a fine job in handling any content that is non HD. For storage, you get a meager 250GB hard disk, and the company does not seems to be offering any SSD options. The screen packs 1366 x 768 pixels which is kind of a disappointment for a computer this big.
Other specs include 4x USB 2.0 ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, LAN, Ethernet, SD card slot, earphone and microphone jack. Asus ET1611PUT measures 407 × 42 × 336 mm (width × height × depth) and weighs in at 4.3 kilo grams. It is wall mountable too, in case you do not feel like putting it on your desk.
About Atom D425 vs D525
Both Atom D525 and D425 are very capable processors. However, most manufactures opt for the more powerful D525 as it is dual core and packs much more power than the D425 and rest of the Atom processors.
