Sony has revealed a new addition to the Vaio Y-series at the CES 2011. The Sony Vaio YB is powered by AMD Fusion processor and ATi Radeon HD 6310. Prices start at 550 dollars and will be available in min-February. Until now, the only ultra portables offered by Sony were W-series and P-series, but were criticized for their underpowered processors.

The YB is bigger than your average netbooks and bundles an 11.6-inch display and almost full-size keyboard. It will be available in silver and pink colors with magnesium alloy casing. It will come with 3x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and a 320GB hard disk drive.
