Samsung 900X1B
Following the successful 13 inch 900X3A, Samsung is extending its line of premium laptops with the 11.6 inch 900X1B. Although it’s only in pre-production, our sources have confirmed that its quality is undiminished by a smaller size. Great viewing angles with no color distortions are especially notable in its 1366×768 HD screen.

If you want a bigger 15 inch ultrabook, the same company offers Samsung NP900X4C-A04DE with 1600 x 900 pixel screen.
The 900X1B runs a dual Core i3 processor (Core i3-2357M which is also being used in Lenovo X121e) which promises great performance, even with a battery life of over seven hours. It has onboard graphics, It’s weight is only 1.06 kilograms, though its body remains stable. It also comes equipped with a 64GB SSD drive, further increasing its speed. Unfortunately, at 1109 euro, it’s rather steeply priced.

On the bright side, you are getting an extremely fast notebook that weighs in at just 1.06 kilo grams. Other specs include 4GB DDR3 RAM, 320 nit display, 13.1 inch display, 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 2x USB 2.0 ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, micro SDHC card slot and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system.
