Lately, a lot of entry level notebooks are coming with the AMD E240 APU (CPU + GPU). The one we got for review is the Toshiba C655D, so we decided to run few benchmarks on it. First is the PCMark Vantage:

As you can see, AMD E350 (and AMD E450) is much more powerful than the AMD E240. AMD E350 was able to score a decent 2510 in the PC vantage test while the AMD E240 got mere 1325. However, the gap is less in case of 3DMARK06 which chiefly tests the GPU performance. Lenovo is offering X120e which sports E240 processor for just 430 dollars here.
