Core i5-3210m Notebook
Intel launched its first 22nm processors on April 23, 2012 and we are not finally seeing notebook manufactures releasing notebooks with Ivy Bridge processors. MSI rolled out GE60-i547 powered by Core i5 3210m processor today. This CPU runs at 2.5GHz clock speed and automatically overclocks to 3.1GHz under turbo mode. Like other i-series Ivy Bridge processors, it features Intel HD 4000 graphics that are good enough to handle full HD videos and some games at low detail.

About the CPU, the Core i5-3210m has full 64 bit support, 3MB L3 cache and sports 35 watts TDP (thermal design power). It has 2 cores that can handle upto 4 threads at a time. Along with MSI, Asus is also offering a notebook called Asus N46VM by this CPU, but it also bundles Nvidia GeForce GT 630M GPU for that extra graphics punch.
