Gigabyte X11 (not to be confused with Kupa X11 tablet) has released one of the thinnest and lightest ultrabooks made till now. The X11 measures just 0.65 inches thick and weighs mere 2.1 pounds.
Specs include 11.6 inch screen, 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Intel Core i5 / i7 Ivy Bridge processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB solid state drive. Ports include 1 USB 2.0 and 3.0 port, mini display port, backlit keyboard and 802.11n Wi-Fi.
It is also the first ultrabook notebook to build with carbon fibre material and mere 150 grams lighter than the Toshiba Z930. Battery life is not going to be great though as it is equipped with 4730mAh 2 cell battery. Check out gigabyte u2142 specs.
Nevertheless, an amazingly thin ultrabook with even more amazingly small footprint.
