Lenovo Essential B570 review
The Essential B570 is a laptop for those who want a simple computer for daily needs. It is also great for the businessmen who eat spreadsheets for lunch. The laptop runs very quite and thus, ideal for board meetings where you do not want the fan to kick in everytime you speak (or your boss speaks).

Folks at notebookcheck germany have done a review of it (model B570e-N2F23GE) and the reviewer loves it. Like other Lenovo notebooks (like T430), its chassis is durable and its screen, plain disappointing. The reviewer does not likes its dull display with poor contrast levels.

Gone is the standard keyboard that you got used to on its predecessor, the Lenovo B560. That said, its keyboard is a joy to type on. It is chiclet type, like the one on T430 and literally, you can type novels on it. And just like other Lenovo’s 15.6 inch notebooks (think Lenovo Z570), you also get a dedicated numpad for crunching in numbers faster than your friends using Macbook Pro.

The B570’s hard disk and RAM can easily be accessed by removing its bottom panel.

Since the B570e-N2F23GE comes with an Intel Pentium B560 processor, do not expect it replace your gaming rig. It got 2080 in the passmark benchmark test, which is more enough for daily use (web browsing, some photoshop, office apps and so on).
