Logitech M215 Review
The Logitech M215 is one of the cheapest ‘branded’ Wireless Mice out there. It is also one of the easiest devices you can imagine, which is common property in Logitech products. I recently bought a Logitech M215 mouse for myself which feels and moves great even on hard surfaces.
The package comprised of:
a) The mouse itself
b) A duracell battery
c) Nano receiver
There are no drivers or software that you need to install and it works on all desktop operating systems out there, including Mac OS X, Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, Mint etc). Setting it up was easy – insert the nano receiver into the USB port and that’s it!
The mouse is ergonomic and fits comfortably in my hand. This Logitech mouse does not require you to use a mousepad and even works on glass surface. But, keep in mind that by using it on glass, battery won’t last you a very long time. An on / off switch is located on the back.
Battery life – I use my Macbook Pro 8 hours a day and I have been getting around 7 days. I am pretty heavy user and if you it with your computer for 1 hour everyday, you should be able to run for 56 days without doing a recharge.
I would like to specify that I did not use the included Duracell for tests and instead opted Kodak’s 2500mAh rechargeable battery. The mouse is available in three colors, red, blue and grey and retails for 18 dollars.
