Toshiba X775 Q7272 is a powerful desktop replacement notebook featuring a 17.3 inch display with 1600 x 900 pixel resolution. To make itself different from the rest of competition, the X775 Q7272 has pair of harmon kardon speakers and a subwoofer at the bottom. Graphics department are handled by the Nvidia GeForce GTX560M with optimus technology to prolong battery runtimes.

Performance of this is Toshiba notebook is top notch. Notebookcheck got 8029 points for i7 2630QM in PCMark Vantage benchmark test. There are two hard disks under the bonnet – 2x 500GB 7200rpm HDDs configured in RAID 0 configuration. The reviewer says that the notebook is capable of handling almost anything – from gaming to video editing to day-to-day tasks like web browsing and office apps. The Asus G73SW also comes with same processor, but GPU is different (Nvidia 460M).

The Toshiba X775 Q7272 has built in Blu ray drive too and thus, is perfect choice for media centric users. Battery life is said to be pretty nice. While surfing the web or watching a DVD, you will be able to get ~3 hours of runtime.
