Galaxy Note Call Recording

While Samsung Galaxy Note is an expensive phone, one will be surprised to know that there is no built in call recording option on the it. Fortunately, there is an unofficial way of getting that option. This method requires you have a rooted galaxy note. So follow our Galaxy note root guide first and install CWM (clock work mod) using the steps given below:

Step1 - Go to Settings -> About phone -> Kernel Version. Note the string present there: 2.6.35.7-N7000XXKJ4-CL641703 Here the italic letters refer to the kernel version

Kernel KJ1 – Download this file; extract
Kernel KJ4 – Download this file; extract
Kernel KJ6/KJ7/KJ8 – Download this file; extract
Kernel KK1/KK2/KK3/KK4/KK5 – Download this file; extract
Kernel KKA – Download this file; extract
Kernel KK9 – Download this file; extract
Kernel KL3 – Download this file; extract
Kernel KL1 Download this file; extract
Kernel KL7 Download this file; extract
Kernel KL8 Download this file; extract

Select ‘I am already rooted’ and follow the onscreen instructions. Now, you have clockwork mod  (CWM) installed on your Note. We will install call recording application now. Download this and install it with CWM. After that, install an app called Sanity from the Android Marketplace. Open Sanity on your Note, select ‘Record enable’ and ‘Phone record’ in the source.
