Earlier this month, there was a rumor that HTC was prepping a phone with 5 inch screen and full HD resolution. Now, its specs have also emerged along with its a couple of pics. The phone, which is being called HTC DIx has pretty amazing specs and many are already touting it as Galaxy note competitor.
Specs include a 5 inch screen, 1794 x 1080 resolution (yep, almost as much as the 17.3 inch Asus G73SW laptop), 1.5GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 16GB internal storage and an additional LED at the back for showing information about charging status, unread messages and calls.
US HTC One X vs international benchmark comparison
However, it seems that HTC DIx inherits the criticized features of One X too – no SD card slot and non-removable battery to name a few. Also, there is no stylus included, which makes it not a serious threat to galaxy note smartphone. That is why, we see it more as a competitor to Galaxy S3 or the upcoming galaxy s4 with 5 inch screen. The phone will be revealed on September 21.
