SE Xperia Arc Review

Now-a-days, it really takes a lot of effort to make a phone stand out in the crowd, especially with so many phones trying to compete with the iPhone. The Sony Ericsson Arc is due for release in the Q4 2010 and promises to go head-to-head with Google Nexus 2 and iPhone 4. The Arc is just 9.3mm thin and looks like an Arc when looked from the sides. On the front, you will find the amazing 4.2-inch capacitive display that handles multitouch gestures with aplomb. It uses the Mobile Bravia engine to make the colors pop out.

SE has also implemented the low light engine in the camera and when used it with the 8.1 mega pixel sensor, I was able to get stunning images (which I will be posting soon). I did not find the software to be much different from the SE X10. The obvious difference between the latter and Arc was pre-loaded Android 2.3.

The performance was great, thanks to 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. I used the Arc for 2 days and the 1500mAh battery did a great job in providing me a phone with all-day battery life. Oh, and the battery is user-removable so you can easily carry extra battery packs if you require more battery juice on-the-move. Check out Xperia Neo Review.
