Swype for Galaxy S3
Swype has been a part of SIPs (soft input panels) in all Samsung phones running Android. However, for some reason, Samsung decided not to bundle Swype in Galaxy S3 phone. This has left many users that used to love Swype frustrated.

On our review unit of Galaxy S3, we found that even if you try to use the APK for swype to install it, it gives a parsing error. Even if you try to restore it from a backup of another phone, it will give you a weird resolution. The only solution to this problem is to turn on predictive text, continuous input and keyboard swipe in the Samsung keyboard settings. This will give you near-Swype like experience.
It is being said that Samsung scrapped it from the firmware as it thought Swype was not much popular amongst users. Weird reason because the company did bundle it on the Galaxy Note’s firmware.
PS: Some users have tried installing beta version of swype from the official website and it has worked for some. It did not work on ours though.
