The HP Touchpad was discontinued even before it was officially launched. It originally shipped with the webOS operating system but the hackers were able to install Android immediately on it. Now, folks at codefireX have confirmed that they will soon be making the latest version of CM 10.1 (cyanogen mod) available for download. Here is how it looks like on the HP Touchpad.
Right now, everything works out of box, except for the sound. Even Wi-Fi works, but UI looks sluggish to us. Also, the screen rotation takes ~10 seconds to work. That said, it is nice to see it up and running on the HP Touchpad. Asus U38n review.
