Apple and Android tablet makers have been busy making super thin and ultra powerful quad core 7 inch tablets lately. However, one PC manufacture, Lenovo wants to follow a different approach. The company is making cheap tablets rather than powerful. Its newest offering, Lenovo A2107 is powered by 1GHz Cortex A9 (MTK 6575) processor and features a 7 inch screen, 1024 x 600 pixel resolution with 4 point multi touch support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Clearly, those are not ground breaking specs.
In fact, the company will be selling its 8GB version for as low as $150 that is easily expandable via micro SD card slot. You also get 8 hour battery life, which is amazing for a tablet of this size and price. There is no specific release date for US though.
