Viewsonic ViewPad 97i Pro Specs, Price
Viewsonic just made us jump off our seats with its new tablet ViewPad 97i. Why? They just launched a Windows 7 tablet which is just ridiculous as Windows 8 release is just days away. Specs include 9.7 inch screen, 1024 x 768 resolution, Atom processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD, 2x USB 2.0 ports, micro SD card slot and HDMI output port.
The Atom processor included it is the Atom N2600 dual core processor (see Atom N2600 benchmarks) clocked at 1.5GHz. Price is set at 488 dollars – pretty good for a tablet that would keep you productive on the move – unlike iPad and Galaxy Tab tablets that are good for media consumption only.
Asus sells a netbook called 1225C with the same processor and specs if you are interested in something like that.
