LG Releases the KS660 Phone with 5 Megapixel Camera

LG Electronics has launched a touch screen phone, the LG KS660. A successor of the LG KP500, the phone features 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and 720×480 pixels video recording capability.

The LG KS660 phone measures 105 × 55 × 14.9mm and weights 115g. It comes with a 3.0 inches WQVGA (240 × 400 pixels) touch screen TFT with 260,000 color support. The screen will have accelerometer support and haptic feedback, according to ITnews World Asia’s report. Those who are fond of the Flash UI should be happy to hear that the phone also supports that, like the LG Dare. The LG KS660 comes with built-in multimedia player, 50MB of internal memory, microSDHC memory card expansion, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and USB 2.0 connectivity.

The LG KS660 Asia version is a triband GSM phone with EDGE support for data. No word yet on if and when it will come to the US market.
